The FS-20m is suited for use in analog or digital facilities. This makes it the ideal choice among broadcasters making transition to DTV. Video input and output formats are standard: Composite video, SDI, Component Analog Video (YUV, YC, RGB out). A proprietary 12-bit video encoder offers a wide band digital over sampling for ultra flat frequency response, extremely high quality encoding and exceptional Signal-to-noise performance. Intended for conversion/synchronization of anything in, anything out mode of operation. Standard mode is designed to convert one video format to another. Duplex mode provides bi-directional connectivity between analog VTR’s and digital routing systems, and synchonization on one of chosen conversion. On power down device have bypass relay only for CVBS. Digital inputs is synchronous switch tolerant (RP 168), for a smooth transfer without unpleasant visual effects when switching between two sources. The FS-20m have two digital inputs and digital loop output. Also have digital synchronized output.
